Melissa serves as our Director of First Impressions as part of our Executive Team. She loves sharing her love for dance with others and offering up the best experience possible to our families. Melissa enhances our customer experience by being the warm, welcoming face and voice of Crossroads. 

She grew up in New Jersey and since the age of five, she has been in the wonderful world of music and dance. Whether tapping away to choir rehearsal or leaping to perform on stage, she was always doing something. 

Her life has brought her on many adventures including moving to Virginia, owning her own music and dance studio, starting a family and exploring other ways to make a difference. Teacher has been a very rewarding experience, as well as the connections she has made with talking to families at Crossroads. 

When she is not serving our families ,she is teaching piano, spending time with her partner Matt and her daughter Meredith and volunteering for things dear to her heart to children with cancer.

I’m attending concerts on walks and hikes with my partner Matt and dog Spock, and dressing up in costumes on many occasions.
